Hello!
This is the end of the weekend and even if it has been a little bit challenging with the mini, I feel like a little of a Sunday evening blues. I think the best cure for that are flowers. So here comes a mini bouquet to think of when it is getting a little bit tough this week.

Hellebores from the garden
Hello everyone,
I don't have as much time as I would like to, to blog since I started my new job in February, but I still keep some time for myself to make bouquets and photography them at the weekend: This is my way to relax and forget about my little worries and anxieties.
I made this bouquet at my parent's place in Picardy with all the flowers I could find in the garden:
Hellebores Ivy and Heather
I wish you all a great day!

monochrome bouquet: purple!
Hello everyone! I hope you are all doing well! The week is already a bit old, but today I would like to show you the flowers I shot at home on Sunday. The weather was cold but very sunny and I enjoyed the nap of the little miss to make a bouquet and do my first open air shooting at home in the garden. It was very enjoyable! I decided to mix different flowers but to stick to one colour: purple. I really like monochrome bouquets - sticking to one colour and playing with shapes and palettes. I think, that way, you notice better the different colours of the scabiosa and of the heart of the anemone. For this bouquet, I chose:
- scabiosa
- veronica
- anemones
- eucalyptus (for the green touch)
You can see which is which in the picture underneath.
What about you? How do you like your bouquets? Do you like to go colourful or to stick to one main colour?
I wish you all a great day!

Hello everyone!
I hope you had a great week end! Time to relax and enjoy some time with your family. Today I would like to share another online shop crush I had lately. It is a French shop again called "les petites emplettes" - I love the natural style of their furnitures and objects. What do you think? Lovely and very French isn't it?

How to make the perfect mini bouquet with some mimosa
Hello everyone,
As I told you yesterday, I would like to show you another way to use mimosa. Not at the opulent flower that can live on its own, but as a perfect flower for miniature bouquets. I love the combination with the blue hortensia.
If you have many little vases, or even shot glasses, this can make a lovely table decoration with one individual mini bouquet in front of each plate.
So! What do you think? Do you prefer to go big or small with mimosa.
Have a great day! Elodie
mimosa from the market
Mimosa is such a happy flower. I love that in blooms in the middle of winter in the south of France. I decided to make this bouquet in a green art deco vase my mum gave me for my birthday in October. I love the contrast and the colour combination.
I will show you later this week, how you can use mimosa in combination with other flowers for mini bouquets.
I wish you all a great and sunny day, and if it's not sunny where you live, you can still buy some mimosa to brighten up your day.
Take care and speak to you soon,
Elodie

LOVEly Flowershop: Roses by Claire in Paris
Hello everyone!
Today I would like to show you the lovely flowershop of my friend Claire - roses by claire - in Paris. I presented you her beautiful flower blog here. At the end of last year, she realised her dream of opening her own shop here in Paris. Those pictures look a bit Christmassy because I took them at the end of december. I will go back soon to show you the shop decorated for valentine's day.
I wish you all a great day!
Talk to you soon,
Elodie

Lovely waxflowers
Hello everyone!
Flowers are expensive in Paris. This is not a secret. So until my garden starts to properly bloom, I decided to make bouquets with some flowers I never arranged before (always exciting!).
I found those waxflowers (also called Chamelaucium) on the market for only 6 € the bunch.
I cut them very short and took out the leaves to make some mini bouquets with them and mixed them with some helebores and green from the garden. The waxflower originates from Australia and is very resistant. The name comes from the waxy feel of its petals. I like them and I think they are pretty suitable for mini bouquets and a pretty table decoration.
What do you think?
lovely Teepee
Hello you! I am going to the Parisian interior fair Maison et Objet celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. I am very excited about the exhibitors from the children's world's sector and hope to see lots of new inspiration. One big trend I like at the moment in children's decoration are teepees. I like the simple white or grey ones that will still look elegant if you decide to put them in your living room and not in a bedroom. I love the fact that they can be used as a little reading nook and can be the starting point for a lot of beautiful stories.
